HTML website training classroom Betabasics website training for small business owners

The enrollment fee for this HTML course includes over three hours of instruction, a domain name for one year, two months of website hosting, and e-mail addresses. Small, personalized classes with a focus on small business marketing needs. $135 $95 (summer rate) for individuals and businesses with 1 or 2 employees. $175 $135 for businesses with 3 or more employees.

Basic website training does not have to be time-consuming, overwhelming and confusing. Small business websites can be both inexpensive and effective in attracting new customers or servicing existing ones.

Course Background

This course attempts to answer common questions with direct answers in order to produce results as quickly and effectively as possible.

Developed by a small business owner (retail) and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) with over 20 years web, software and database experience. Taught by experienced business professionals.

Participants Should Already Have:

  • Experience saving and creating simple Microsoft Word or other computer documents.
  • Experience sending and receiving e-mails.
  • Experience with simple web searches.

Objective

The purpose is to give you practical information required to control and manage your site as an effective business tool.

This is information you need as a business owner: 1) if you plan to work on the site yourself; 2) if a technology professional is working on your site now; or 3) if you plan to hire someone in the future.

At end of the class, each small business owner will have completed and launched an effective website and performed key tasks necessary to understand how to manage a site and get that site noticed.

A Focused, Task-Oriented Approach

Instead of generalized web training, the Betabasics training system provides the small business owner with a list of specific tasks to complete in order to quickly put up a new website and manage it, or increase the number of visitors to an existing site.

All essential tasks to launch a basic website and get hits will be completed during the class. The site you develop with us may be the only site you need or you may wish to add more complex graphics and more website pages later, or hire a webmaster.
